From Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg,
My dear friend and long-time professional collaborator Asher Hashash has been diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). He is in need of immediate financial assistance in remodeling a bathroom in his home to accommodate emerging needs as this terrible disease progresses.
Kol Ami has established a MiSheberach Healing Fund for Asher and his family. Our first fundraising goal is 10k in order to begin work on a bathroom renovation. The goal is to raise 10k by the end of this month.
We established a MiSheberach Healing fund for Asher through Kol Ami. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Hashash family. Please donate here: www.Kolaminw.org Go to the donate button and from there you will be able to select the MiSheberach Healing Fund for Asher.
From Ettie Davis,
Originally from Israel, Asher Hashash is known and loved throughout our Seattle Community, not only as a Jewish Song Leader and Educator, but also as such a warm, kind, and positive human being. When he reached out to long-time friend and Hadassah leader, Esther Caplan, for a doctor at Hadassah Hospital to consult with, she rushed to get him the information as quickly as possible. I can imagine Asher leading us in singing the MiSheberach Prayer for Healing. The Healing Fund is a way to help ease his burden, even a little, so I hope you will join me. Thank you.
