Are you concerned about what’s happening in the world today – scared of the increase in anti-Semitism, saddened by gun violence, or worried about your family’s health care? Then come join the Jewish Federation, Seattle Hadassah, and Jewish women from around Puget Sound for Women of Valor: Advocate Jewishly! Our shared work standing up for our community, our families, and our values never ends. Carry on the momentum started a year ago by the Women’s March.
Spend the evening of January 18th with Jewish women from around Puget Sound:
• Celebrate the one year anniversary of the Women’s March
• Learn what’s on the legislative agenda in WA State for the Jewish community
• Understand how to make your voice heard on the State and Federal levels
• Discover the current hot-button issues for women in both Washingtons
• Get energized! Write postcards, sign up for Jewish Community Lobby Day (February 21st), and register for Hadassah’s Day in the District

Max Patashnik, Government Affairs and Community Relations Senior Manager from the Jewish Federation will speak about how to advocate effectively here in Washington State, and Kate Baumgartner, Seattle Outreach Director for Senator Patty Murray, will provide insights into Federal advocacy.
Join us as we prepare to push for crucial policy on issues that directly affect women’s lives and livelihoods. A part of our upcoming training will include a component on Hadassah’s groundbreaking advocacy work on issues ranging from stem cell research and genetic discrimination to women’s economic equity, led by Susan Adler, Seattle Chapter President, and Kindra Cooper, Seattle Hadassah Domestic Advocacy Chair.
